Here he is, he's been mostly completed now for quite some time - just had to finish up detail work on his DCCWs.  He's magnetized for transportability and overall an awesome model to paint. 

checkerboards and you... a simple guide

With my facination of checkboards, I wanted to share my technique.  Here's the fairly quick way to get a decent checkerboard painted.  enjoy.

Well, finally finished (sans the dullcote)!  I really enjoyed these, even though they've been in various stages of paint for the last 4 months... and got side tracked with more interesting models, and a general loathing (or dread) of finishing them.  I did take the opportunity to work on my freehand work on these as well.  Enjoy!
